From Centuries long ago...
What is about the legends of King Arthur and Queen Guinivere that fascinate me so much? I'm in love with tales of chivalry, knights, magic, kings and queens and to me King Arthur and Queen Guinivere represent everything I would want (without the darn Lancelot interference of course!). They are beautiful, strong, proud, powerful and compassionate royal figures. They command honour, respect, and wisdom. With their rule came peace, prosperity and harmony. Isn't that what we all seek? Although the legend was woven with horrible treachery, betrayal, and deceit, I choose to view the couple for the ideal they stood for - two beautiful human beings bound in love with high values. And in this world where you're constantly faced with the reality of life's harshness, keeping site of the ideal is what keeps the world beautiful in my eyes. I've written separate sections on the ideals of being a KING and on being a QUEEN. These are the qualities I strive to achieve in myself and look for in others.
